The Best Time to Visit Mango Deck (Hour by Hour)
June 14, 2026 · 5 min read

Mango Deck has two personalities in one day — a calm beach breakfast and a full-blown party. Here's the hour-by-hour rhythm so you can pick the version of Medano Beach you're after.
Morning (8–11:30 AM): calm & family-friendly
Doors open at 8 AM. Mornings are relaxed — breakfast on the sand (chilaquiles, omelettes, waffles), strong coffee, and the best view of the bay before the crowds. Great for families and anyone who wants the scenery without the volume.
Midday (11:30 AM–1 PM): warming up
The music comes up, the 2-for-1 margaritas start flowing, and the beach fills in. A good window if you want energy without the full peak.
Afternoon (1–5 PM): peak party
This is Mango Deck at full volume — the live show, beer-drinking and dance contests, DJs, and the biggest crowd of the day. If you want the party, this is the window. Reserve a table or bracelets ahead, because prime spots go fast.

Golden hour & sunset
As the sun drops behind the Pacific, the whole beach turns to face Land's End and the Arch. Order a margarita and watch the sky light up — arguably the best beachfront sunset in Cabo.
Night
The party rolls on after dark with bottle sparklers and DJs. Bring a photo ID — you must be 18+ to drink in Mexico.
So when should you go?
- Families or a quiet view: 8–11:30 AM
- Best of both worlds: arrive by noon and stay
- Full party: 1–5 PM
- Sunset & photos: about 45 minutes before sunset
