What to Expect at Mango Deck: A First-Timer's Guide
June 15, 2026 · 6 min read

First time at Cabo's most famous beach club? Here's exactly how a day at Mango Deck works, so you walk in knowing the score — from the sand to the show.
Getting there
Mango Deck is on Medano Beach, about 10 minutes from the Cabo San Lucas marina. Walk the beach path, grab a taxi or rideshare, or take a water taxi (panga) straight onto the sand — the same boats run trips to El Arco and Lover's Beach.
Walk up — or reserve your spot
You can stroll up and grab general beach or restaurant seating. But the prime spots — beachfront VIP tables, cabanas, and open-bar bracelets — sell out on weekends and events, so most groups reserve ahead. A table comes with a dedicated server and a premium bottle per four guests; bracelets get you about four hours of open bar.
The food & drinks
Start with the famous loaded nachos (they easily feed two), fresh ceviche, or a beach breakfast served until 11:30 AM. Drinks are the main event: ice-cold beer buckets, 2-for-1 margaritas, and the tableside tequila-shot tradition that's part of the show.
The show & contests
From about 1 PM, the stage takes over: live music and DJs, beer-drinking contests, dancers, rope tricks, and crowd contests (dance, bikini, and more). It runs every afternoon into the evening — it's why people come once and keep coming back.
Transparent pricing — no surprises
Booking online? Your package price and the 20% deposit are shown upfront before you pay. What you see is what you pay, and the clear balance is settled at the venue on arrival — no mystery tabs.
Best time to arrive
Mornings are calm and family-friendly; the party peaks 1–5 PM and rolls through a golden-hour sunset. Come earlier to claim a beachfront spot.
